(no subject)
I realize it's been days weeks forever since I've made a proper entry. So if you have no idea who I am, forgive me?
After a great annual meeting in Santa Fe, we headed north to one of Leading Man's and my favorite places on the planet: the Rocky Mountains.
So here's a quick photo travelogue:
First, Bear Lake. Probably the easiest "hike" (and that's giving the 30 yard walk the benefit of the doubt) in Rocky Mountain National Park ("RMNP"). I'm not kidding ~ someone with a walker was there with us.
Next, my girls on the Alberta Falls trail. I think this is one of my favorite pics of them ever. *beams*

So after spending 10 days away from home, we were home for four days, then headed back west to Leading Man's family's reunion. Needless to say, the cats have NOT been amused.
In other news, one of my dads is coming to visit this weekend to celebrate Eldest's 16th birthday with a baseball game, my mom comes next weekend to celebrate her (and Eldest's and my) birthday, and the girls go back to school in the next two weeks. So between catching up from having been gone so much, we'll also be trying to get the house cleaned for visitors and shopping (and generally gearing up) for the start of school.
What happened to my summer????
I'm beat... but I am looking forward to the sshg_exchange postings. I may not post or write at all much, but I do still read.
