From today's icanhascheezburger site:
Awwww! In other news -- and as
others have reported -- we went from 73° F (22° C) at noon yesterday to 15° F (-9° C) some 7 hours later, enjoyed gale-force winds, rain, sleet, snow, thunderstorms, and a possible tornado... and we're expecting anywhere from 4" to 8" in snow beginning tomorrow afternoon through Friday morning.
It's doubtful that the kids will have school Friday ~ our school district includes some very rural routes which ice over with just a cool glance ~ but I'm seriously debating whether I want to stay home or not.
On the "Stay home" side of the ledger, there's a day spent in jammies, a roaring fire in the fireplace, kitties curled up on couches/chests/toes, and general Winter Wonderlandishness.
On the "Go to work" side, I would be able to get lots done and I wouldn't have to listen to anyone complain.
...
Sounds like I'll be at the office.
ETA: The National Weather Service has increased its projected snowfall to 4 - 10 inches, while my favorite
local weatherman has reduced his estimate to a maximum of 7 inches. Either way, it looks like I'll be shoveling Thursday night/Friday morning.
