We were sharing some 'no shit there I was' type stories of Wellington weather when we were over in Sweden. Very logically, we were asked whatever made us stay in Wellington if the weather truly was like that. Well, because you can't beat Wellington on a good day. Today was such a day. It was a good 20 degrees, sunny and clear, and a mild whisper of a breeze. It's September (equal to March in Sweden).
This is from the corner of our street, right near the girls' school, looking out over the city and the harbour. It's about ten minutes walk from our house. Takes another 20 or so to walk down there, right into the heart of the city. Himself walks to work every morning.

Yes, we have a castle in the bottom of our garden.
