language frustrations
Sometimes you wish you could share some of the good stuff of your culture with your friends. But you can't, because someone is being stupid about subtitles.
"Rejseholdet" is a fantastic TV-series produced by Danish TV. It won an Emmy for best drama in 2002! Yes, American Emmy. You can buy the whole box set, all 32 amazing episodes of it. But do you think anyone at DR thought to subtitle it in English? Oh no. Then, you know, people who don't speak Danish/Swedish/Norwegian might actually be able to watch it. And why would we want that?
GRRR!
So we sat up last night until half past one to watch 'just one more' episode.
