Was doing just fine at DA, with the exception of lack of sleep. Didn't have anything to do with the accomodation on site, didn't sleep the night before at home either. On top of that, getting up at 5.30 to put bread on for breakfast kind of takes it out of you anyway. Did notice that YoungerM was coughing a bit on Friday, but didn't think much of it. Now I've got a temperature, and am coughing, and have just noticed tonight that tingly pre-achy feeling in my joints. I'm ploughing on though, yay for codral. YoungerM voluntarily went for a lie-down after school today. Now, there's a bad sign!
Have been digging through the aftermath of DA, mostly finished finding the kitchen again, and have begun to make a small dent in the laundry. One whole (full) load of dirty teatowels... funny that.
I have also come up with a way to store my patterns in the sewing room at least. Curtain rings with clips. That'll work.
Thanks to
frualeydis I have discovered I must own Vedeler's new book. Damn! 630 SEK, that's like, what, NZ$130. Less the 'moms' but add the freight, so that sucks. That's a week's worth of groceries, that is. And unfortunately, while the kids probably wouldn't mind living on five-minute noodles for a week, I'd feel like crap about it.
Maybe for Christmas. Or my birthday. If I don't buy new glasses (which I desperately need).
Tomorrow we record the second batch of soundbites for the radio show. Feta cheese and the lord's salt. Should be interesting.
Do I really have that strong an accent?
