My tomatoes are still tiny, flowering but not fruiting. This is apparently how it is for everyone in the region.
The interplanted marigolds are not reticent at all though. they've grown huge. So today, after I'd dug up some potatoes for dinner, I cut down the marigolds to let sun reach the tomatoes. I cut the flowerheads off and made oil, which I've mixed with beeswax for two large jars of marigold salve, plus I have some oil set aside for adding to aqueous cream.
Went through the kids garb yesterday. There's a bag of outgrown stuff which I've promised the girls they can have to sell off at CF. A used clothes stall. Hmmm...
