Lets see. A bit of an update. Hey! A real entry!
Amy has her baby (oliver, in the post below). He got kind of a rough start, only 5 lbs, and was in NICU, and is jaundiced, but he is home now, and HERS. lol
I guess the birthmom took him home, which scared the hell out of me, but it all turned out in the end. I didn't get the call untill 5 pm yesterday! But they called me from the car on their way home. lol Amy is a MOM! I'm so happy about that.
Mandy had her baby yesterday morning (Roxanne, below) a 9lb baby girl. :) She called me herself an hour after she had her. Sadly, I was still a sleep and missed her call. But anyway. She had a tough labor (stalled at 8 cm for over 6 hrs!) but got though it to the other side. :)
Tali worked it out with my dad to use his airline miles to fly me down there, and I'm glad I will get to see all the babies so soon. In like 2 weeks!
Blah. I had a meeting with the councilor at Stephen's school. it was...well awful. Lots of criticizing me for not spending enough time with my kids. Which is funny because I work from home and their dad works nights...I think they are with parents more than any other kid I know. Anyway, it pissed me off because it was all about how *I* should work less, blah blah blah...no mention of their DADs role in this. Blah. anyway, it was the suck. But hopefully Stephen feels better and I did convince them to try giving him an "away" spot that he can go to when he needs to get him self more together. I need to do some more processing of that meeting, but I'm just to tired right now.
Went to Kayla's Volleyball awards banquet. She played varsity this year (of course). Damn. I don't know where she get's it. But she is good. I push her SOOO hard on academics (because that is what I think is important) but athletics is really where she excels. She was named Defensive MVP. Her coach said her setting average was the same as her best high school player (1.78 for people who know what that means). Of course, high school serves are much harder, but still. Damn. I'm proud of her. Confused (neither jim or i know where she get that), but proud.
Lets see. Now it's 8:30 at night, Jim is JUST starting dinner, Morganne is cranky and full of sugar (lots of cookies at the awards thing) and running around the house with no pants. I'm stressed because of all the work that I missed because of the meeting with the councilor, and behind. But too brain dead to really do anything about it.
Also, on a very aside note, got a message that one of my WOW friends has decided to stop playing. Sad. He was a really really good player, but more than that, he was a cool person and was always making me laugh. I'll miss him.
