YAY
New computer. um Yay? I don't know. It's not what I really really want (I want my OLD computer to work!) but Jim tells me it will work. It's the new iBook G4. It's all strange and plastic...I like my old titanium Powerbook. Ah well.
Came pre-loaded with the new OS. Which I was prepared to hate but the widgets have won me over with their coolness. And even better. I can type normaly. The other keyboard I was using was the kids and was just awful. I'm spoiled, and full size keyboards just don't fit my small hands as nicely as the little laptop ones.
I'm at the moment working on the Loooooong task of down loading all 120 mgs of system updates and trasfering over 30 gigs worth of files and applications. fun.
Oh! Jim discovered that we can sell my nonworking powerbook on ebay for about $200. That is a nice discovery. Also, I am keeping the hard drive out of it, and got a little external case so now I have a drive to back my work up onto. that is a Good Thing.
Looks like WoW finished copying...lets test this baby out!
