Move

Well, we are in the new house. Mostly. To tired to take pics but I will at some point. We don't have to have all our stuff out of the old house till the end of the month so we moved all the big/necessary stuff and now we can take our time going though the 13 years of crap we accumulated there and deciding what can go and what should be moved.

NO ONE helped us. God we need new friends. Jim and kayla moved everything. Washer/Dryer, couch, stove, Fridge!. Kayla actualy helped too. God I am so impressed. She can lift about double what I can (she can lift half the couch and I can't).

I solved the problem that this house as no room for an office! :) the bedroom has a BIG closet. Not walk in, but big. I painted it and created like this cool built in desk and shelves for my printers and file cabinets and stuff. I love it. The best part? I did the whole thing my self. The planing the buying and cutting the wood and hanging the shelves. All of it. I have two more shelves to get up (some how I lost the brackets) and then I will take a pic for ya. Oh! I am even going to have cool built in recessed lights on the bottom of the shelf right above the desk for lighing. I can't do those myself though. Gonna have to have Jim help me with them.

Kayla wanted to go to the HS Volleyball game yesterday so Morganne and I walked her down there. That was nice. Don't know if I shared this before but the house is 2 blocks from the school, 1 and 1/5 blocks from the store and postoffice and bank, 3 blocks from the preschool/daycare and the coffee shop is RIGHT around the corner from me! mmmm mochas baby! :)

Met a couple people here, namely the woman who owns the coffee shop (ha ha) and a neighbor one block over with a 2 and 4 year old. She is heading a committee to raise money for new playground equipment (park and pool 3 blocks from our house) and invited me and M over to play any time. :)

Wow. That was long. Ok. gonna go finish work and see if the stove is hooked up so I can make dinner.
