This is your brain…
Just came up with some REALLY GOOD concepts for these postcards. Due tomorrow. But why? I have been struggling with the concepts all week and NOW I get inspired.
I think I have conditioned my brain to only really get going when I am total under the gun. Stupid brain.
Also, In the time I was sitting here TRYING to come up with postcard concepts, I finished off not one but TWO other concepts that have been plaguing me. Totally unrelated to what I SHOULD be doing (postcards!).
I was disclipined though. I refused to work on those ideas till my brain gave up the goods on the postcards. HA! I made notes though, so hopefully tomorrow I will have time to work on them, and I will be able to remember my brilliance from tonight. I hope. One of them, a logo for Spokane's Women's Business Center, has been tormenting me. I was beginning to think that a decent logo for them was impossible. But NO! I have a good one! I'll post it once it is more than just a jotted sketch in the margins of…print magazine. Page…59 to be exact.
