Yes this is very similar to the one of Shuuhei. A very |intense| work. Renji looks like a god of thunder with those tattoos.
A strong black and white contrast is always great but once again I find myself captured by hands or rather fingers... they are just perfect. And who could resist such a shameless tasting...

And having drawn years ago myself - and also having had to deliver the obligatory 'hand' drawing at school - I know how hard it is to get fingers and a hand 'right'. All the more reason for me to appreciate your talent. :)

Well, this time I draw the fingers intentionally too lean and elongated, even a bit unproportional - just for effect. But you're right, it isn't always easy to get the right proportions (especially hands e.g.).
I noticed that they are a bit elongated but since that is 'common' in manga I am so used to that that it barely registers for me. Besides I like that, gives the characters a 'noble' touch. :)
