I'm sorry that it took me some time to comment... now it is my turn to be ill. :( I wish I could say this doujinshi had the power to heal me completely but still I am feeling much better now! :)
Thank you so much for drawing such an inspired glimpse into Shuuhei's soul world. Wonderful idea with the falcon and even better one with the Shuuhei twin (with an ear ring!!! 'It' does look somewhat wicked with it). Remember our exchange on his Bankai? And I said wolf or something? Scratch that. After long discussions with a friend, I have constructed a full-fledged Bankai which doesn't have an animal anymore but something more along your lines although much, much crueler.
Still, it is fascinating to see that my idea headed in the same direction as yours did - must be some kind of transcendental world-wide knowledge concerning Shuuhei's bankai... ;) (Kubo will probably come up with something similar. hehe But we had it first!!! lol)
Shuuhei's inner world reminded me a bit of a scene from Samurai Champloo, which I love dearly and I find quite fitting for housing a spirit. Besides, Kazeshini kissing Shuuhei? Since I am someone who believes in having personal bonds with a weapon, the erotic image was simply beautiful. :) *melts*
I really like your drawing style and your doujinshi would be the first which I have fully enjoyed since it wasn't cluttered with images and exclaims. It almost has something of a director's panel for making a movie. :) Great work.
Thanks for this comment in every sense! Well, let's see...first of all, get well soon! To be ill, is just a bother (is still recovering herself).
Regarding Kazeshini, yes...in fact he's the inverted twin of Hisagi. Even though he might look rude or have a bad-ass appearance (remember what Hisagi tells about his sword's shape), he wouldn't never betray and is pretty much concerned about his wielder, etc.

I haven't thought about Hisagi's bankai yet -only about Kira's e.g. But I'm curious about what you came up with...mind to share it with me? (in public or private, don't mind)
Oh, I don't remember such a scene in Samurai Champloo, maybe because it has been long since I watched this series. This desert-like world fits to his spirit form and also Hisagi's feeling of 'loneliness'....maybe.
Kazeshini's kiss is a mix of not self acknowledged tenderness and teasing, I guess.
'It almost has something of a director's panel for making a movie.' In fact, I tried to speak through the panels....without much words. I'm glad, that I somehow managed this ^_^
Thankies. At the moment I am mostly concerned about losing my voice, which often happens when I have this type of cold. :(
Well, I think it is safe to say that I wouldn't mind seeing more of Kazeshini in human form... I really like his bad-ass attitude. It's funny really, Shuuhei always acts proper and polite but looks like a punk... that's why I love that your Kazeshini actually acts according to Shuuhei's looks. :) Ahh, I love such things. Well done!
Oh! Wonderful, you have watched Samurai Champloo too? :)
I agree with the loneliness within Shuuhei (that is why we pair him up with Kensei, right? Two lonely guys... ;) )
I'll message you separately about my ideas. ;)
You're very welcome! I'm glad that I got the panel thing right. I try to listen to my instict more these days.

Yes, I've watched Samurai Champloo, as well, and liked this series.
Exactly. Who knows this kind of loneliness better than Kensei....
Ok, will await your message then ^_~
