First Lesson :D
So I taught my first lesson on my own, yay. This lesson was also observed by my University Supervisor so that is one less thing to do later on. I was able to teach calendar time today, which is the whole day of the week, what time is, it but it also incorporates some basic math skills. The cool part about what this class does for calendar time is we also do the weather with a "meteorologist" a student who checks what the weather is, and then we record the tally, go over the most and least types of weather.
The awesome thing we get to do is each day a student gets to choose to be cartographer, and we look at any one place in the world they want to on the projector/smartboard, today it was Cancun, Mexico (which just makes me with that I could go to Hawaii sooner :) ). So we got to look at the area (the quality on the satellite images sucked, but the pictures that google users had posted were awesome.
Tomorrow I will be working on a grammar lesson, and then Monday I will start to teach my work sample (the biggie) on Monday most likely...crazy :)
