So now I'm the lemming and working on this thing that my friend's journal started, and you can play too if you want. Essentially you reply to this post and I choose 7 things off your LJ interest list and then you explain in your journal why they are there. And yes I am doing this to procrastinate doing hw.
Here is what was picked for me:
classic rock, skiing, 80's music, wheel thrown pottery, country music, 80's movies, ever after
Ok then-
Classic Rock-well duh I like it, more like love it, and I like to talk about it, and go to concerts when I'm not poor and the bands are actually playing around sometimes. I dunno what else to say I know that some of my good friends exposed me to more and new bands from it and still keep my interst in it going.
Skiing- True I probably do not talk about this one much, and as much as I love to do it I just don't have much time to do it, nor do I have the equiptment, and for a college student it is super expensive, and I really stopped going when I didn't have a bib that didn't fit, and it's funny cuz now they don't even use those really and you just go in snowboarding clothes for the most part whether you ski or board. Eventually I will try to board, but for now I am content skiing, because I will probably have to relearn a whole bunch of shit the next time I get back on a mountain. I know it's ridicuously silly that I haven't gone since Mt Hood is only like 45 min from me at school but oh well. :( someday, but then it makes me think what if I never get to some day which seems to be a frequent occurance lately.
80's music- what can I say as whacky as it is - it's still fun and I like it sometimes it has it's uses like dance parties etc, plus I was kinda born in the era
wheel thrown pottery-so I fell in love with doing this in HS and I just find it relaxing and fun to take a blob of clay and turn it into something fun or functional or whatever you want. I like the feel of it taking shape under my hands, and I wish I had time to take a class or even dabble a bit, but I don't lately.
Country Music- wow so duh if you know me at all I'm interested in this, more like I love Country Music and I grew up on it so that kinda makes sense. But yea I know artists songs all that jazz and I think that ones pretty straight foward.
80's movies- yes I also love 80's movie umm lets see Footloose, Top Gun, Pretty in Pink, Breakfast Club, are favs-etc.
Ever After- This is my favorite movie and it embodies girlyness and the ultimate prince rescue fantasy, and as much as I know that this is stupid and un realistic I still like to believe that in a modern way it is true and wish that it could happen to me so yea.
