“I know you disobeyed me, Merlin, I’ve started to think you can’t help yourself,” Arthur said, sitting in his chair by the fire. He propped his elbow on the arm and rested his chin in his hand. “I give you an order and you do the exact opposite of what I say. If I tell you to continue standing there like a stone will you actually kneel?”
Merlin rolled his eyes and knelt, sitting back on his heels to take Arthur’s boot in his lap to remove it. “You could just ask you know,” Merlin said, tugging at the laces. “Everything doesn’t have to be an order.”
“Where’s the fun in that?” Arthur asked.
Merlin scowled and jerked Arthur’s boot off, dropping his foot on the floor. Arthur moved it back to Merlin’s thigh and said lowly, “Merlin,” when his servant looked about to swipe it off again. Merlin hesitated. “Tell the truth, I’ll know if you’re lying. Did you disobey me? Did you take yourself in hand while I was away?” Arthur slid his foot over to press his toes against Merlin’s groin.
“No, sire,” Merlin groaned, fingers tightening on Arthur’s ankle when he nudged the bulge that had been evident since Arthur’s return.
“Not once in a fortnight? I don’t believe you. Up.” Arthur took Merlin by the shoulders of his shirt and tugged so Merlin was kneeling between his legs. He kept hold of one shoulder and quickly opened Merlin’s pants with his free hand. “How quickly will you spill in my hand if you were as chaste as you say?” Arthur asked.
Merlin’s prick was hot and hard in his palm, wet at the tip, and Merlin shuddered and cried his name as the first few strokes made him spend. Arthur licked his hand clean and pulled Merlin up into his lap for a bitter hungry kiss. “Arthur,” Merlin sighed when Arthur sucked a bruising kiss on his neck.
“Stay,” Arthur asked.
