A/N: This is what come of taking a walk by a beach
Ariel never told anyone the real reason she visited the surface so often. It was a secret, something just for herself. Everyone believed she went up to daydream and envision herself on dry land, and while the truth did deal with dry land, it wasn’t in the way anyone thought. See, Ariel liked to let the tide wash her ashore so she could feel the grit of sand against her skin and fins. She liked the rough texture, so different yet so alike to the sand below the water. She would often squirm and dig herself a little furrow and use her hands to rub the sand over her body, revelling in the sensation. It was so sensual, so intense that it often left her moaning softly. Everything usually broke over her like a wave and she would lay basking in the sensations before heading back below. All the others attributed her flushed cheeks to their knowledge of her supposed daydreams. If only they knew the truth.
