Rodney’s face as he looked down on him had been in his mind for days. The pain in his features as he backed away from his newly healed body had been haunting him ever since.
He had tried to put it down to Rodney’s guilt but there was a depth of pain there that did not fit, pain and fear and something which looked suspiciously like terror.
There was a hope that he had buried deep in his chest that was fighting itself free and Radek knew that if he did not confront it soon he was going to do something tremendously stupid.
It was not at all typical of Rodney to ignore a radio hail but he was doing just that and it worried him, Rodney kept his radio on 24/7 fearing the damage his minions could wreak if left unsupervised.
Rodney jammed his door, he’d been doing it almost from the beginning, though it had gotten more difficult to unjam since the storm. His mind skittered sideways over the though and focused on the console. It was difficult, but he alone in Atlantis came close to Rodney’s skill and he finally managed to unlock the door.
The door slid open with a soft hum and Radek had to hold the doorway to keep himself from falling.
Rodney was laid out like an offering to Bacchus, his heavy limbs were splayed across the bed, head propped up by a pillow as he stroked himself.
Rodney’s eyes were closed, face twitching, he hadn’t heard the door opened and was stroking himself with the kind of jerky movements Radek recognised.
He could have backed away then and left his question unanswered, it would have been safer and undoubtedly better for his future stress levels but the idea of seeing Rodney’s face when he came was haltingly good.
And it was, his mouth fell open as he groaned, his hand spreading his come down the length of his shaft as he twitched through orgasm.
Then he opened his eyes and froze and Radek just stared back. He really hadn’t thought this far, he was starting to have the sinking feeling that this was an oversight he was going to regret.
