Day 10: Vibes (SGA Teyla)

"I thought you might want this tonight," Elizabeth says when Teyla opens the door. She's holding a small box wrapped in plain brown paper, and the small smile on her face is dwarfed by the shine in her eyes. "Instead of waiting for the distribution tomorrow."
Teyla raises an eyebrow. "Are these the toys you helped me pick out?"
Elizabeth nods and thrusts the package forward. "Happy playing!"
Teyla almost, almost invites Elizabeth in, but it is not her people's way to be so forward, and she knows that Elizabeth's culture has many taboos as well. "Thank you," she says instead.
Elizabeth smiles again, and leaves.
Teyla doesn't look away from the box as she returns to her room. She unwraps it slowly, thinking that perhaps some other time, she will find the courage to ask.
Some other time, after she has mastered this thing called a vibrator.
