This morning since it is Sunday I was going to take my usual quiet morning walk up to the supermarket and take the opportunity to relax the heating a bit, because this old place is not great for keeping heat let alone any of the shit my landlord installed in here being energy efficient.


The absolute violence to have luke warm water and keep the temperature from dropping under 10°
Obviously it also doesn’t help that my oven is cheap crap, so any kind of cooking takes longer than it should while blowing those sweet and expensive kWh. But I digress, the decision I made in my bed surrounded by cats was this - fuck that, I don’t need much today and it’s not really worth it to save 3€. But I will need to go and grab some staples next week.


Feels like -4° or colder for the 1km walk down the bords de la Seine
So that leaves me with a bit of extra time today as I don’t have two hours of clomping around in the freezing cold. Some of it I already spent with Jarod, who as a thanks got a bit grabby and sliced my face up, which means we’re going to have to do a nail trim.



For the rest of the day, I’m just going to do whatever, probably still have a pop at the whole Fediverse project that I accidentally got myself in to yesterday. I also decided I can have a treat and grabbed a panier surprise from the petrol station which is more than likely to be nothing more than a decent amount of snacks.

Other than that, I’m starting to like this new style, normally I’d just throw out a couple of toots and that would be that, but now I’m taking the time to just really ramble on a bit on the journal instead, with the brid.gy integration as well it is nice to see the immediate response of comments or likes come through as comments on the entry.
