(no subject)
It's the last week of classes, hooray. Although I can't say that it's my last last week of classes. I have plenty of stuff to do. I have to write 2-3 pages about NMR, yuck. I have my geog final on Wed and some p chem hw due Friday. And I can't forget about Dr. Young's crazy waste removal project aka let's see if I can give everyone here cancer. But nothing is working with my mysterious waste so my teacher told me to do a couple more things otherwise we may have to give up. Well nothing seemed to work. Although I did add 'charcoal' (it totally wasn't, but I didn't argue with my TA) and I don't know if anything happened with it b/c I left it in my drawer to settle or something over the weekend. I'm so sick of that class, I can't wait for it to be over. I don't know how my grade is going to be in that class b/c my TA loves to take off points for stupid things. On to other things. So I hung out with Kimmay on Friday. We went to Famous Dave's and our waiter was kinda weird. He stared at my ID forever and I'm not exaggerating. And then he would come to check on us all the time. Went to Oakbrook after that. I thought I would be a nice girlfriend and buy a nice shirt for Bryan, but he apparently did not like it. Ok, it wasn't that he didn't like it he just had a problem b/c it was a striped shirt and wasn't 'business' enough for him. So I can either exchange it a see if they have any solid colors or just get something for myself instead. And it wasn't a cheap shirt, I went to the Gap. At least he thanked me for the effort. But I still totally felt shot down. And I don't know what my problem is lately but I've been in a weepy cycle lately. But yeah, I just thought I was doing something nice, oh well. Saturday I went to school, yes I had class. I'm just happy that my teacher didn't call on me and that he did most of the talking. After wards Alex, Harsha, Christine, my teacher and I went at got lunch. Nothing special just got subs from Fontano's. Sat around at some benches by the library ate and talked. Later I went and saw Bryan, obviously and had the shirt experience. Went to Steak and Shake for dinner, I haven't been there in a long time. I was just happy to get a chocolate malt. They don't have peach anymore and I was kinda sad about that. Today I went to lunch with Megan, Christy and Mary. It was very amazing that Mary actually showed up. I didn't think she would b/c she sent me a text last nite sometime after 11 saying that she didn't want to go. It was kinda awkward at first, I mean between Mary and Christy the rest of us didn't have any problems. So we had a nice lunch but I kinda had to cut it short b/c I went to the Rush game. They finally won!! I went with Kimmay and my dad. Derrick came and sat by us later after he was done with the tailgating thing. And Bryan came over briefly to say hi and he was pointing out to his dad and brother in law where I was sitting. I was trying to show my dad where they were but was unsuccessful with that. Everytime I would say oh there Bryan is, standing up, he would sit down the moment my dad would look over. Oh and I finally bought a Rush shirt so now I too can be cool when going to games. Even though there's only one home game left. Hmm, should I start working on my NMR lab report now?? Eh, maybe I'll just get the book out and skim it. I think that's pretty much about it for now.
