Seriously, I'm so happy teenagers are so smart. I like the fact that we can jump people because we're intolerant. And I love that we can be such hypocrites, because you know it makes sense when we bitch and moan and complain and declare how wrong something is and how people shouldn't be doing it and then turn around and do it ourselves. Yep, most definitely. This will happen until teenagers cease to exist. I'm not going to say I never fit amoungst a stereo-type of teenagers (I certainly was a very angsty middle schooler (we didn't have the word "emo" then and I think that should be scoffed at anyway since I wasn't "emo" I was fucking depressed and being made fun of on a daily basis) and if I had to admit to it... an angsty high schooler as well)... Everyone, even the stupidest, deserve at least slight patience... as much as I hesitate to say it. If you're not allowed to fuck up when you're not legally an adult when are you allowed to fuck up? Granted most if not all legal adults fuck up quite often as well.
This is life, I'm sad to say, and though I agree with your wishes that teenagers could get a better grip I must stick to what's realistic and realize they won't.
Plus everyone is guilty of this behavior, some just to a lesser extent than others. No one is perfect. ::shrugs::
Take comfort that you're nearly done and with your brains and determination you'll get to virtually wherever you please. High school comes to an end faster than you think. :)

People can in fact get a better grip on reality, they just choose not to.
