Here's my rant for today. Read this article from the media. This is the full article from WSBTV
"A fatal crash Sunday (2/25) morning, claimed the lives of two 17 year olds. Clayton County Police say Obi Terrell Zachery Bailey lost control of a 1996 Honda Accord, around midnight, and slammed into a tree on Camelot Parkway, Jonesboro, GA.
The front seat passenger, David Austin, from Riverdale, died at the scene. Bailey died of his wounds at Atlanta Medical Center.
The accident ended a chase from police. An officer began chasing the car, after seeing the headlights weren't on, while it was traveling on Mt. Zion Parkway. At times the pursuit reached 80 MPH. The chase ended in a residential neighborhood. That's when police discovered the car was reported stolen Saturday (2/24).
The four rear teens in the back seat had to be extricated from the vehicle. All of them are being treated in the hospital for serious injuries."
http://www.wsbtv.com/news/11109113/detail.html Ok, let's blame everything on the police for doing their jobs. Did this article once mention that this car was STOLEN? Nope. The car was stolen. So are the police supposed to see stolen cars and just let them go? Nope, try to pull them over. So he tries to pull over this little hoodrat and his car full of teenagers. Oh, yea, they missed that too. Innocent kids in a car. There's this thing called a curfew, and rules about driving if you're a teenager like
* No driving from midnight to 6 a.m.―no exceptions.
* No driving with nonfamily members for the first six months after obtaining your Class D license. After six months, no more than three passengers under the age of 21.
So there's this car driving late at night filled with teenagers...it's safe to assume that they're not abiding the driving rules.
So the officer sees this car full of teenagers driving without the headlights on that's STOLEN and tries to pull it over. ah, yes, he's doing his job.
The kid speeds off to avoid the police. Guess what! INNOCENT PEOPLE DON'T START HIGH SPEED CHASES.
And of course they blame the pd for chasing this stolen car with no headlights on filled with people. Last time I checked 6 people didn't fit into a Honda accord. This little hoodrat's mama actually blame the police for her son being dead. She actually said on the news "he was just joyriding"
So you think it was OK for your son to be driving after curfew with a load of kids in a car that had no lights on and was STOLEN. I don't care whether he stole it or not, but if it's stolen and you're driving it you have NO EXCUSE. When you're a teenager joyriding isn't even allowed. Driving as a teen is only supposed to be for a purpose and to get from place to place with reason. She's obviously a very responsible mother.
Yes flame me, I don't care. I'm tired of the bullshit. I'm tired of worthless parents blaming the police because something shitty happens to their poorly raised felon children
