Party time for Mr. Metz

Alright. Yesterday was a good day. I played a party with the band and it was awesome. We kicked some major ass if I may say so my self. The real "fun" happened before the party. About a month ago my strat broke. No big deal. I can't fix it. So Elden's brother gives me a guitar. Cool. Then a wire on the input jack falls off. So I solder it back on. That was fine. Then two days ago the same shit happens on Miguels bass except for this time the wire ripped in half. So we fixed it with some speaker wire. Then my distortion pedals fucks up. So I let it rest and it worked again. Then my amp starts to short out. So I kicked it a few times and it worked again. THEN I get done bringing my shit to where the party is and my cable shorts out. Then my amp keeps fuckin up. So I kick it and let it sit. That usually does the trick. And it worked again. Then I go and grab my cables that I had extra and they worked for the party. Then this morning I plug in my other new guitar(which is really my old guitar's neck on a yamaha body, a yamastrat, the best damn guitar I've ever owned)and the cable that I used for the party last night doesn't work. So I've gotta stock up on some new shit. But all in all the party was a success. We played about 5 sets of about 4 songs each. It was good. All the drunk guys formed a little pit and then this dude Jared tried to jump onto a couch and then jump off into the pit and he jumped on the couch and slipped right off. It was funny stuff. I managed to stay clean even though I was around everything i could possibly want. It was a good night. Wish you guys could have been there, but it's cool. Maybe next time.
