The Jane Austen Book Club by karen joy fowler - it was just an ok book but it did inspire me to read some jane austen. I think I found a quote to examine my life with:

Forever Lily: An Unexpected Mother's Journey to Adoption in China by Beth Nonte Russell - This book was not at all what I was expecting... i don't really know how to explain it in a few words... so I am swiping this short description from amazon.
Beth Nonte Russell's "Forever Lily" tells the story of a mother's journey to China to find a daughter she was destined to attain, against all odds. Ok book, I think I would have liked it more if it had been what I was expecting.
