(no subject)
This morning I was so frustrated and had so little patience that after trying once to wake them up, I said to myself "f#ck it! I give up"
I went downstairs and promptly fell asleep on the couch.... until 9. The kids weren't still up and I still didn't have the energy or patience to try and wake them up. So I turned on the weather channel (the ultimate background noise... no one pays attention to it) and stared at the tv until sophia woke up at 930 and i had her get jake up. They got to school at 10.
I keep telling myself that they aren't doing anything in school anyway so I am not a bad mom. Jacob kept saying he was going to set a couple of alarms.
Tony found out he got another scholarship. $850 for his artwork. He doesn't have to use it for art, but he rcvd it for art. He really is a wonderful potter. I hope he keeps doing it after he leaves school, his teacher loves him and said he could continue to use their wheels and kiln next year as long as he comes during last hour (which is the advanced class... less people).
Jacob leaves for TN next week, I'm going downhill already. I feel horrible that he will not have a family member there for him. If I can slide down the hill slowly maybe I won't crash....
Oh... and the dr gave me some new medicine... a months supply and no prescription... and Sophia cleaned the car for me for mothers day... and threw it away.
