(no subject)
Well spring break 2006 is done for us.
Tony was quite disappointed in his. It snowed a couple of times and the snow stayed on the ground until the end of the week. Snow is great but this wasn't enough to do anything in it, but it made the ground cold and soggy so you couldn't really do anything outside.
Sophia was sick for a couple of days but we went to the movies a couple of times and went skating yesterday.
Jake thoroughly enjoyed sleeping in. So much so in fact that he asked me this morning if he could have one more day to adjust to waking up early again. He played hockey a couple of times and made fun of my sister when she wanted him to play with her... "what, she wants to twirl around and flail her arms again?" Of course I told her so she could give him a hard time!!
I should get my test results today or at least a call telling me my dr needs to talk to me (this kind of call is a bad call).
It annoys me sometimes that people think my sister is so young. She is 2 years older than me, so she will be turning 40 this year. We went to cripple creek once and they carded her to make sure she was old enough to be in the casinos. When we went to curves and the girl asked her age, she said "oh I would have guessed much much younger than that." I guess it really only annoys me because it doesn't happen to me.
Lisa has been calling me since friday, but I don't want to talk to her. She is very invasive and I don't want her knowing my business this time. The things going on in my life right now feel very personal. And I'm feeling quite judgmental about her cheating on her husband. The first time I tried to be understanding (yeah the first time she had an affair with this same guy) but this time, she's tearing her life apart which is her choice... HER CHOICE... and she's complaining about her husband, but its one of those complaints where you are looking for something to fight about. She's not giving him a chance. Steph saw him and said it looks like he's just given up. And she's out on medical benefits because of the turmoil in her life and I think she's doing it because she just wants more free time to spend with him. Well, I would like more free time to spend with my kids... wouldn't we all...
