thoughts of clearing out closets...
Lately (for about a month now) I have been having this urge to throw things away. I got rid of my old entertainment center and my loveseat. Replaced enter. center, but not love seat, and I have been cleaning out closets and boxes of things.
So as I talked to the therapist the other day she was asking me if doug had any clothes hanging in the house. I said no and I started thinking about his things. There is very little left in this house that he had a part in buying. The entertainment center and the love seat were probably the last 2 big things....
I have noticed though...
Flight jacket (I keep thinking the boys will want it... but they never will... neither one is gung ho military)
rug in living room
Sophia's dresser
chest in my room
Chairs from the dining room table
dining room table, but I put that in the back yard and use it as potting/bbq table
excuse me I literally had to go vomit because of this
maybe its time to take a break from thinking about it. I have been thinking about it for about 36 hours now... non stop....
don't feel like I'm gaining any control, but I think once I get rid of the stuff I will... and I can probably get rid of all of it except sophia's dresser ...very soon. But I'm proud that most of his stuff is really gone
