Hot for teacher..
All the kids had great days...
Sophia's teacher likes to give nicknames to the kids in his class... Jake was jake the snake... my nephew was mighty matt , my niece was Paulina bedilia (after amelia bedilia)... He called Sophia... Miss Movie Star... she was thrilled!!!!
Jacob is taking a college prep class and is thrilled that he will be learning about careers, majors, etc... I guess we have been talking about it so much with Tony lately that it has rubbed off... He is also taking geometry (he's only in 7th grade!!!) There is only 1 class for the whole school and it only has 10 students... they are not offering it next year.... He is thrilled to be special!!
When I asked Tony about his day, he tells me... it was okay... and then very excitedly tells me...
"My english teacher is HOT!!!" (apparently she is only 23)
So I ask him if this means he is going to be getting a good grade in the class so he can impress her.
His response...
"NO!! it means I'm going to do bad so I can get extra help!!
Lisa came and took me to the fair to look at the art exhibits.... was beautiful... I got an indian fry bread... or elephant ear/fried dough as we called them when we visited my relatives in MA...
Lots of walking and I am tired... but yet... not tired...
and my birthday is over...
I think it was a good one...
