[Camera flickers on to Smoker, who's at the piano in the rec-room. He's starting to play a song to get started up, it's an easily noticed one, Do-Re-Mi, he then takes his hands off of the keys and cracks his knuckles, loud popping noises from the joints are heard and then he hums quietly, before beginning to play and sing
this. He finishes after a few moments and rubs the back of his neck, laughing quietly to himself, before going on to play
this.
He relaxes after a few moments, for if you had been watching carefully, you'd have noticed how tense his shoulders are and how he obviously wasn't exactly up to par. But after a few moments he looks at the camera and SCOWLS.]
WAS THIS RECORDING!??!
[The camera shakes and then flickers off.]
[OOC: The lyrics to the songs are going to be heeere~
Love Vigilantes - Iron & Wine Cover
Oh I've just come
From the land of the sun
From a war that must be won
In the name of truth
With our soldiers so brave
your freedom we will save
With our rifles and grenades
And some help from God
I want to see my family
My wife and child waiting for me
I've got to go home
I've been so alone, you see
You just can't believe
The joy I did recieve
When I finally got my leave
And I was going home
Oh I flew through the sky
my convictions could not lie
For my country I would die
And I will see it soon
I want to see my family
My wife and child waiting for me
I've got to go home
I've been so alone, you see
When I walked through the door
My wife she lay upon the floor
And with tears her eyes were sore
I did not know why
Then I looked into her hand
And I saw the telegram
That said that I was a brave, brave man
But that I was dead
I want to see my family
My wife and child waiting for me
I've got to go home
I've been so alone, you see
Rodeo clowns - Jack Johnson
sweeping the floors, open up the doors
yeah turn on the lights, gettin ready for tonight
nobody's romantic cuz it's too early for dancin
but here comes the music
bright lights flashing to cover up your lack of so
many people, so many problems, so many reasons
to buy another round, drink it down
just another night on the town
with the big man, money man, better than the other man
he got the plan with the million dollar give a damn
when nobody understands, become a smaller man
the bright lights keep flashing, and the women keep on dancing
with the clowns, yeah yeah yeah
they pick me up when i'm down yeah yeah
the rodeo clowns, yeah yeah yeah
they pick me up when i'm down
the disco ball spinning, all the music and the women
and the shots of tequila, man they say that they need ya,
what they really need...is just a little room to breathe
teeny bopping disco queen, she barely understands
her dreams of bellybutton rings and other kinds of things
symbolic of change but the thing that is strange
is that the changes occurred, and now she's just a part of the herd, yeah yeah yeah
man, i thought that you heard, yeah yeah
the changes occurred, yeah yeah yeah
just a part of the herd
lights out, shut down, late night, wet ground
you walk by look at him, but he can't look at you yeah
you might feel pity but he only feels the ground
cuz you understand moods but he only knows let down
by the corner there's another one
reaching out a hand, coming from a broken man
well you try to live but hes done tryin
not dead, but definitely dying
with the rest of the clowns, yeah yeah
(humming)...with the rest of the clowns
sweeping the floors, open up the doors
yeah turn on the lights, gettin ready for tonight
nobody's romantic cuz it's too early for dancin
but here comes the music
I'm putting these here so you don't actually have to click the links. [nods] Anyways. :| Enjoy. ]
