part II

[mmmhmm]

less than $15 to my name
( $14 of which is loose change
jingling at the bottom of my bag
beside a paperback i'll carry for a while
until whatever feeling i get when i smell the pages
isn't novel any longer.)

i'm thinking really radical things.
the who and where and why--
they're almost all subject to change.
i'm hardly holding on to anything.
i'm re-considering even the fundamentals.
i've never felt so non-linear.
