Vacation T-Minus 2 days!
Oh man, I haven't updated in far too long.
Thursday, me and the hubby pack up for Archon! Just us'ns, no bro-in-law thank goodness, to go enjoy the masquerade, dealers' room, autograph sessions, my oh my!
Michael's even feeling good enough to help with the driving, and has volunteered to get us past St Louis, which we will hit just about rush hour. ugh. His godson will be there, as well as friends from other states, so it'll be a big reunion.
I've got my display almost ready! I found a 1922 Montgomery Ward catalogue that had pics and prices for feminine products, it was soo wild! I'm going to use photocopies of it to cover the outside of the box. If I had a scanner, y'all would see the actual page, but no luck. I'm so glad the library had it though, it's really fun to page through those ooooold catalogues.
The only sad part, we gotta kennel the Ty-doggie. He'll be confused, I do believe. I hope the attendants can give him plenty of attention. It'll be the longest I've been away from the furry dude since we moved in, in January!
