Last weekend the newest Houlihan's opened in Savannah, and we got invited to the VIP guest serve (where they practice before opening the restaurant to the public) so we decided to go down and check it out. It took us forever to get down there, cuz it stormed and hailed on us most of the way, which really sucked, but Everett slept the whole way so it wasn't nearly as bad as it could've been. Saturday morning we went to H's, which was SOOO nice ... I *really* wanted to open that store, which was supposed to happen before I went on leave, but they (obviously) pushed it back way too far. It was tons of fun, though, and we ate tons and tons and tons of food (free Houlihan's food ... thank goodness it was something different for a change, eh?) After we ate we drove to Tybee Island and spent like 10 minutes at the beach ... walked in the ocean, took some cheesy pictures, dipped the baby's feet in the water, then left. Then we went down to River Street, and wandered for a while before we got crab legs and tons and tons of candy :) Not quite on my diet plan, but ... oh, well. Then we went on a carriage ride/ghost tour of Savannah ... SOOOO much fun! It really made me wish I had time to actually plan a vacation there so we could do tons of that stuff, but at least we got to see a little bit.

That's about the only exciting thing that's happened lately ... mostly Everett and I just hang out at home and play on the computer and watch tv cuz we're huge losers. I keep telling myself I'm going to start his scrapbook soon, but I'm too lazy to go three blocks away to the drugstore to get pictures printed out. I just need to do it some time in the next month so I can have something to show for my time when we go to Indiana for July 4th. Everett is growing like crazy cuz he's a total pig :) He has his 2-month checkup next week but I'm guessing he's probably passed that 10-lb mark by now.

Also, Brandon's step-sister was having really bad back pains and found out last week that she has a huge tumor on her spine. Her first surgery was today (not sure yet how it went) and her second surgery should be on Friday - hopefully she'll only need two surgeries, but we don't know yet. So anyway, she's got three little kids, so it's pretty scary. Any thoughts or prayers would definitely be really appreciated for her right now.

Um ... that's about it. See cheesy pics:
