“Ow fuck. Ow ow ow,” Tommy groaned, rubbing furiously at his eye, eyeliner and shadow smearing all over his cheek and the palm of his hand.
“Would you quit whining and get over here!” Adam said, his annoyed tone barely hidden.
Tommy glared at him with one eye, hand still pressed hard against the other. “You do not get to sound angry at me,” he accused. “You’re the one who got glitter in my eye.”
Adam rolled his eyes, leaning back against the sink counter and crossing his arms over his chest. “Well if someone hadn’t been being a fucking tease and rubbing his leg up against my dick while I was doing his makeup, maybe my hand wouldn’t have twitched and this never would have happened in the first place,” he shot back.
“In my eye,” Tommy repeated. “In my fucking eye.”
“I get it,” Adam replied, throwing his hands up in defeat. “You have glitter in your eye, it hurts like a bitch, and I’m the worst boyfriend ever. Now will you please get over here so we can get the glitter out of your eye?”
Tommy narrowed his eye and sighed loudly, moving back over towards the sink. Adam turned the tap on, waiting for the water to reach a comfortable temperature as gently he pulled Tommy’s hand away from his eye to look at it. “You probably just need to flush your eye out with water,” he said, motioning towards the sink.
Tommy frowned more, tucking his hair behind his ear and bending down over the sink. He cupped his hand under the running water and splashed it against his eye, repeating the process until some of the irritation started to lessen. Adam’s hand came to rest against the back of his neck, his thumb rubbing along the skin just above his shirt, and Tommy pushed back into it despite himself as he shut the faucet off.
Adam handed him a towel, eyebrows creasing slightly. “Any better?” he asked, voice quieter than before.
Tommy scrubbed at his eye and blinked a few times. “Yeah,” he said, “I think I got it out.”
“Sorry,” Adam whispered, cupping Tommy’s face in his hands and sweeping his thumb over his cheek to wipe away the smudge of eyeliner left there. He leaned down, close against Tommy’s face, and his hot breath caused Tommy’s eyes to flutter shut. Adam pressed his mouth softly against Tommy’s eyelid, leaving small kisses on the smooth skin there and dragging his lips along his lashes.
Tommy rested his hands on Adam’s hips and slipped his fingers underneath the hem of his shirt. “It’s okay,” he sighed. “But it’s a good thing you weren’t trying to glue rhinestones on my face. I’d have one stuck to my eyeball right now.”
Adam rolled his eyes again and left one last kiss against the corner of Tommy’s eye before pulling away. “Ha ha ha,” he teased. “Now, are you going to behave so I can fix your makeup?”
Tommy laughed and hopped up on the counter. “I’ll let you fix it,” he said, wiggling his eyebrows. “But no guarantees I’m going to behave.”
