im free!
so after many fights and near death experiences with my mother, i am finally back in brighton and loving it! classes started. i think this quarter i am going to drop my forth class so have 5 day weekends to travel. so yeah travel...i did some this past week.
bath was amazing. the roman baths were pretty cool and walking around the city was beautiful. i would be showing pictures but i am in the computer lab right now so maybe tomorrow.
we also went to st. ives where my dad grew up. it is all the way over on the western tip of england. the town is known for all the famous artists that lived there. we went to the barbara hepworth museum which is her old studio. turns out my dad lived next door to that very same studio so i got to see his old house. i guess he would go over to her studio and she would show him pointers on how to improve...crazy shit. i really love her work. ha when looking around all of it was so familiar. ahem i think my dad had some inspiration from some of her stuff, we have one sculpture at home that is the exact replica of one of hers. i wish i had the talent...her depiction of wind, sound, and water is pretty crazy. so that being said i think i found a tattoo idea. she is a sculptor but i think i can put together something interesting. the town is really cute with small lanes and it is right on the water. we also got to go to the tate. i think the view almost over took the actual art inside the building.
on our way back to london we stopped by stonehenge...pictures later.
now my mom is in london and i am meeting up with her saturday morning.
so onto the brighton crew. everyone is back and drinking like crazy. ah its nice to be home. so my prediction was correct...everyone after break ended up coming back single and horny. ha. it is really funny watching it all. this time i am staying away...ha we will see how that goes.
so my goals for this quarter:
TRAVEL
stop biting my nails
meet new people, go out more
do well in school
stop worrying about future business and fucking have fun now!
yesterday i bought a fuzzy blanket...if anyone wants to come over and feel it my door is always open, ha. KAY THAT MEANS YOU!
i miss the l word and 40s, along with many other things but i will catch up and see it, you, and everyone else in the summer when the weather is warm...wow that sounds so nice.
