I have worked 5 years at this travel agency and never once in the 5 years of working here as a client upset me to the point of tears....

...I guess there is a first for everything.

well i had been speaking with a man all morning about his cruise balance which was due on Sunday. But he wanted to change his air from roundtrip Toronto - Vancouver to just one way Vancouver - Fairbanks etc. So I had to re-price everything, but I never do pricing, its usually the agents, who was off that day and NONE of our managers are in (don't ask) so I did the pricing on my own but I wanted to make sure I had done all the discounts correctly etc. I mean if I discounted too much it comes out of the agents commission and they make less on the booking. In the meantime I was also tending to other clients who were calling in for stuff, so from the time I spoke with him about the new pricing till the time I was typing up the email it was about an hour.

Well while I'm typing up the email he calls and its yelling at another agent that he is "unimpressed with our service" and "he wants to talk to a manager" and he "has been calling all morning and no one is returning his calls etc" I'm like wtf I've been speaking with him all morning! I never ONCE did not return his call! So I get on the telephone with him and everything we talked about earlier he was just twisting around and he said it had taken me 2 hours to get back to him, which I replied to "I'm sorry sir but it has not been 2 hours since I've spoken with you" and he did all back tracking and was came back with "ok well than 12:30." He was just a nasty man who was outright lying about what was real going on to just I guess make him feel special. He was doing the whole power tripping stuff and it just angered and upset me to the point of tears.

But I'm over it now and hopefully I never have to speak with him again.
