Sunny Days are Ahead!
I'm off to Fort Lauderdale in 2 days for a "business trip" I mentioned it awhile back, and now that its closer I'm getting a little more excited about it. It will be nice to get away from here for a little awhile (no offence to anyone here, but the weather sucks and its depressing, and my family drives me insane...)
I'm going with carry1474 and another younger girl from work. We arrive VERY early into Fort Lauderdale on Thursday, so early in fact we probably won't be able to check into our room. Were hoping the hotel can do something with our luggage in the time being and than I plan on soaking up some sun by the pool. The following days will be filled with Cruise Ship Tours and Product Knowledge Seminars. It should be pretty interesting and worthwhile. During our off times (two of the days we are done at 11:45am) we are "planning" on doing some shopping, sitting in the glorious sunshine and I really want to visit South Beach for a day. I guess it depends on if the other gals went to pitch in for cab money there and back. I've been to Miami before (last May actually) but it was basically the airport and than the Port of Miami, so I really want to go and spend a few hours there!
I will try to take some pictures to show off, though there won't be much to take pictures of..LoL. Anyways I will update you all when I return!
Random Question of the Day: What factors of your every day life make you want to escape for a few days?
