I haven't posted in my blog in awhile, so I thought I'd just write something. What shall I write about today? Hmm...
I am very much looking forward to my vacation in May. Not only will it be some much needed time off, but I will get to spend time with my family. It's weird, but I find the older I get, the more I enjoy my family. I guess I don't take them for granted like I used to when I was younger. It's amazing what a little age will do for your attitude about life and loved ones.
Recently, my sister recommended a movie to me...
In Her Shoes. It's about the relationship between two sisters who are as different as night and day. She wanted me to watch it because she said it reminded her of our relationship. I watched it last weekend, and I have to admit, it did remind me of her and me. Although she and I were never as "extreme" as the sisters in this movie, there are some definite similarities. But basically what it all boils down to, is that there is a very special bond between sisters...no matter what. [Hallmark moment]I wouldn't trade my sister for the world.[/Hallmark moment]
Ok, time to go back to work, but before I go...something I'm thankful for: my mom being ok. (She recently hurt her back.)
