so the trip rocked! bean and i left early saturday, and drove drove drove our little white bootys till we got through lacrosse, all of minnesota, and into south dakota. like an eight hour drive. then we stayed in a motel 6, dude and the town we were in had a corn palace. yes. a building made entirely out of corn. there was also a spam museum somewhere along the way. so then we get up sunday morning and drive drive drive and ended up at wall drug, which was a joke, we hate it now. its the mans store. then we drove more to rapid city, and then finally to mt. rushmore. and we get to the top of this mountain, and youd think, mt. rushmore, wow its some huge thing...and its really like this tiney little rock thing, lol. so we park, and as were going to the parking structure, we see this goat, eating grass. some wild, mountain goat, big shaggy and white, standing there. so of corse annabel wants to make friends. so i rip off a chunk of bagel, and toss it to it, but i have terrable aim, and accidently hit it. with a bagel. and so i was scarred the whole time that a park ranger was going to take away the rest of my bagels. so then we say that...big rock with faces. woo. then we drove into wyoming. then back to motel. then today we drove home. its wonderful to be back.
but daaang, it sure adds up fast. and i mean we didnt even buy any food, we survived 3 days soeley on bagels, diet dr. pepper, apples, and cheese in a can. it was beautiful. oh well we bought coffee of corse, but thats barely anything. so but this trip added up to be like 200 bucks, and it was only suppost to be 100 and most. dag. and so im really worried about the endland trip, im going to go broke at this rate. maybe well only stay for two weeks instrad of three...i dont know. we shall see, eh? oh and in my book wisconsin is still the coolest state.
