Hey everyone out there in Live Journal Land. I don't know if anyone reads this anymore since it has been soooooo loooong. I am now back from Ireland and London. I have been at Flat Rock Playhouse for about 2 weeks now. I am just now finally getting back into the swing of everything. Yet they still keep throwing new stuff my way. 1776 opened this wed. and so far the audiences are loving it. Feel free to come down and see it. I play the honorable Judge Wilson of Pennsylvania. Little part, but big on importance. We had a really neat class yesterday about deaf theatre. We had this guy come in who came from 3 generations of deaf men, and he was able to hear, but grew up using sign language. He showed us some videos of different deaf actors, then we talked about ABC stories...where you tell a story using the sign language alphabet not actually signing out the words but using the hand gestures to make it look like what you are doing...like make the sign for "A" and that could be picking up a cup...or "B" could be waving at someone...etc...anyway...lots of fun. Then last night was midnight studio ( a cabaret show that happens every friday at 11:37). we did improv and it was a smash hit. well. not much else is happening right now.
ill let you guys know when something big happens.
