more recent developments:
-got made fun of for having a livejournal so here i am posting in it again. i figure if people are going to read it, i might as well make it interesting. (edit: oh well, i tried)
-spent the morning taking pictures and ensuring myself a berth in the Caboose of Hell. i've never seen a monk so disappointed.
-not much work = drinking more nights than not. not to excess (although friday night an offer of a free Strongbow put me over the precipice), and usually with the "these are kinda expensive so i better take my time and make them last" mindset. i'm enjoying the Monk's Cafe Flemish Sour Ale, and have been working my way up to having a Seafaring Beers collection, with Piraat, Bier du Boucanier and Bier du Corsaire. don't worry though, my addiction ultimately will have nothing to do with alcohol and everything to do with this
-"Tried By Twelve" by East Flatbush Project. fuck. seriously.
-Richard Brautigan "Revenge of the Lawn" and Dave Eggers "How We Are Hungry".
-short trips to other cities are in order. Boston, New York, DC, Chicago, i'm looking at you.
