friday i spent my evening hanging out with Lisa, looking at art (including some paintings and drawings of me, some more flattering than others, at the Academy ISE), enjoying vegan chinese food and showing off our bellies in a photobooth. we had some great conversation, keeping eachother up until we could barely keep our eyes open (which is to say... about 11:30pm). then i rode home and went to bed around midnight.
saturday i went to the Eastern State Penitentiary Flea Market with Michelle and Tom, and even though i didn't find anything, i still saw plenty of things among the tacky crap to amuse myself. then i rode along with them (and Brian and Ian) to watch them play soccer. later that evening i went to more art openings in North Philly, soaking up some excellent free food and beer along the way. and as my nightcap i went to the WHY? show at the Pontiac where i was reunited with long lost Cincinnatian expatriates, some of which crashed here overnight. an amazing show, to say the least, and one that made me really proud to say These Talented People Are My Friends.
and then today i was enjoyably lazy all day, up until my trip to the gym (where i got a coy but promising smile from a girl - my first after going to this gym for almost four months). and when i left the gym, it was still nice enough outside that i decided to ride the Kelly/MLK bike path up and down the Schuylkill River. and then i called my mom and took a shower and made veggie dumplings and ate oreos and nutella and decided to revive my livejournal and then you read it and it was right now and then you signed off and called me and told me how happy you are that we're friends.
