Hmmmm....
I made my first ever doll this week. It was interesting and very fun. Oddly enough it came out looking almost exactly like my friend Amy -tall, thin, red hair - without me even trying or intending it to. I gave it to a little girl at Mosaic, Don's daughter in fact, and she pretty much loved it. That's why I like to make things - to see people smile and laugh.

In other news, I've started volunteering at Ten Thousand Villages, and I love it. In fact I want to buy everything in the place. And I enjoy reading the stories of the people who make the stuff. It makes it more personal.
