I've been thinking about this a little bit recently...
Everyone has a story. Everyone has something to share. And I'm really curious to learn about how everyone thinks and I really want people to tell me their life story. I think it would be really cool to hear about it from every person I meet. I want to know who influenced them and how the impact shaped how they act now. There are so many people at school. Even if they're people that I don't necessarily like or want to spend a terribly large amount of time with, I think that with a story I might be more inclined to pursue some kind of relationship with that person, and might even want to know more (which would require some hanging out time). And I don't just want to know their name, where they're from and what their major is. I want to know more. Is this weird?
Everyone has at least some interesting stories!!!
There are so many interesting questions you can ask someone, the unfortunate thing is, you have to kind of know people to get into the nitty gritty details, which means hanging out with people you might find interesting but might not necessarily like all that much. It would be weird if I asked someone personal questions about their family, their childhood and education, when their first kiss was, what money means, the first time they got drunk, what some special skills are, what favorite words are without knowing them fairly decently. You can't ask those questions when you first meet someone "oh, hi, my name's Leila. Tell me about your past relationships and what they meant to you..." No.....
I guess I'll just have to get to know a lot more people better!!
