(no subject)
Gosh Darnit. I hate when i go on a bookmarking spree. I also need something to syncronize my safari and mozilla bookmarks. So i can get to actually sorting them out properly. Also, I have found that I am trying to absorb way too much knowledge at once. I'm trying to learn like 10 topics right now. I should be focusing on max two. There is so much to know about computers. I wish that I was into LInux in Elementary. I would be so cool by now. damnit.
Also, I've been reading hackinglinuxexposed.com's articles from a few years back. They are really good. I've learnt some really cool tricks with lsof already. Very very very cool tricks. Anyways, the reason i mentioned it was that the articles i'm on now are covering dybdns. Last year I tried making a DNS server with BIND. I had partial functionality but I only really sorta knew what i was doing. I'd like to give dybdns and BIND another go. All i need is a few spare boxes. Seeing has if i bother to do it at all, i mine as well have primary and secondary DNS servers. Do it right ya know? Anyways. It's a valid goal. But maybe i should get a job first.
Also, i would just like to say GODDAMNITMOTHERFUCKER... because it's 4:25am, meaning i just pulled another all nighter and I had finally got my stupid schedule back on track sorta. I got invited to my uncles place for thanksgiving and i have to get up at like 12 noon on monday . I don't want to sleep thru it. haha.. well, honestly, i don't care.. but it would be rude now that i said i'm going. Anyways.
It looks like i'll be in this house for a while. Our landlord is even raising the rent in 08. I'd like to move out because the drier doesn't work anymore, the dishwasher never worked, the oven doesn't work, we don't have a microwave anymore, our sink keeps backing up, ... the mice I can handle. I was planning on moving out with one of my roomates but it turns out that the two roomates I like are both now moving to different cities very soon. w00t. Unless i get a killer job and can afford my own place. ( maybe if i had 20 years experience in 50 languages ) I"m pretty much stuck here for now. I guess i'm pretty used to it.
