Give Me Stories!

I want to write a movie screen play. Or perhaps just another short story. Anyone got any ideas? Apparently, I am not great at coming up with initial concepts. In fact, I am extremely envious of people who write fictional stories for a living. It would almost be as though they'd have no time to enjoy their own reality, because their minds would be completely preoccupied by the life of a fictional character.

I wonder what that's like. I'd like to give it a try sometime.
