Popick's gonna come hang out with me tomorrow...not sure if we're going to universal or not, I still have one day left on my ticket. Hung out with my big sister (in the sorority) Kelly, Mandy, and my grandbig Mandi. We went to hotdog heaven (although I always just get a plain hotdog with ketchup..so it's usually the same quality everywhere i go :D) And then looked at halloween stuff! I was putting a costume on over my clothes..hence..trying it on..and this lady had to voice her two sense about how it was "too short! too short!" under her breath. We tried on anything and everything...the "honey bee" "shoot em up cowgirl" (my favorite..it comes with "shooters and shot glasses" to go in the belt), and pirate things.
I didn't get to go to zeta lip synch today.. it's a dance competition for all the new pledges of the sororities. I forgot campus activites board had a pirates of the carribean event, so Christina and I went to help out with that (no hot jack sparrows in the costume contest, unfortunately). We left early and went to wackadoos, the campus sports bar and grabbed a buffalo chicken quesadilla. I get it everytime. I'm such a loser :) IT sucks you can't get a side of fries..you ahve to get the "appetizer basket". Annoying.
Okay, so I am conservative, but I am pro-choice... I dont think abortion is right, but I don't think the government should be telling a woman what to do with her body. But this comment from our anthropology teacher still pissed me off...she was talking about culture, and how, in some cultures, they have conflicting moral views. She was saying it was hypocritical to be Pro life but also be Pro death penalty. "yeah, they think its okay to kill people after they do something wrong, but they wont do it before theyre born"
What kind of bullshit is that??? Killing someone whos murdered, and killing something innocent are two WAY different things! You can't compare the two. This lady also needs a history lesson, about how mt saint helens blew up more shit into the atmosphere than human kind has done in all existance. (i love that one!) Oh and how they were just complaining about "global cooling" back in the 80s:)
