2013 New Year's Goals

Jan 11, 2013 12:54

I haven't taken the time to right out any of my goals for the new year in awhile so I want to write them out here. I don't have much on my list but having them written out will remind me more to be consistent with them.

The List:
1. One year. Sounds silly but to remind myself I need to do these things for 1 year.
2. Run between 1-3 times a week until the end of the year. (With the exception of the week after the Tinkerbell 1/2 Marathon to rest).
3. Keep a jar of good moments that happen this year to look back at on New Year's Eve. (I saw this idea posted on Facebook).
4. Bring a lunch to work with the exceptions of Pot Luck days or Cast Appreciation Days. This one is self-explanatory.

Okay, I thought I had at least one more but I can't think of anything. Of course I want to stick with the basics like staying positive, being a good wife, and continue to work as much as possible. I'd really like to be out of debt but that's something that Daniel and I need to work together and I don't think being debt free will happen in 2013. Unless of course we talk about how much we want paid off by a certain time and attack the debt with gazelle like intensity, then it's possible, but until then we are doing what we can now. However, I do know we will be debt free and am confident with that. I am also hoping for change at work but am being patient until that change comes.

And I think it's kind of funny when people say they have a feeling that 2013 is going to be a great year. It's not the year that will make it good for you, it's you who will make it good for you. YOU are the ultimate factor that will determine how your year will be.

So bring it on 2013, bring it on.
