The protesting was stupid. I could see mexicans doing it in L.A ofcourse because of how shitty white people treat them just like white people treat everyone who arn't just like them...

BUT mexicans get treated perfectly fine here just like everyone else so stop potesting and making me stay in Mr.Browns room for another hour and a half.

I understand that you're upset about being kept in school, but you might want to study illegal immigration more intently before you oversimplify the issue and make harrowing judgments about it.

It's a lot more complicated than you might think. And frankly, TX's economy would be in big trouble if it weren't for all the illegal immigrants, ie the protestors, that big corporations and rich White families hire to do hard, dirty jobs for hardly anything. Wal-Mart recently lost a HUGE court case for hiring illegals (on purpose).

And the argument that Mexicans are "taking jobs from Americans" wouldn't work if those companies and American families didn't actively hire those illegals and pay them underm minimum wage. It's America exploiting Mexicans, not Mexicans exploiting America.

Mexicans aren't coming over here to freeload, they're coming over here to make a life for themselves and they're doing jobs you and I would never want to do. So, if they would like to be treated like something more than a second-class citizen, I can't say I blame them.

Applying for citizenship is a lot more daunting a task than a lot of us know, and I imagine it takes a lot of valuable time, and I'm sure there are some people that simply can't for whatever reason. Point is, I don't know all the details, so I'm not going to condemn an outspoken minority population.

So if you don't really know what the protest was about, then blame the SCHOOL, not the protestors.
