AAAAAH. :D I watched Utopia for the first time in... I think years. Just now. OH I FORGOT how delicious those last few minutes were! :D Master and Doctor oh YAY. Ten and Simm!Master just love each other so much. It was almost like the first time, except I already knew what was coming. I just kept WAITING AND WAITING for the Doctor to ask about the watch, but it was MARTHA who asked and ... 'OH shit I have to tell the Doctor that guy's GOT A MOTHERFUCKING FOBWATCH.' Once he hears, you just know. TEN ALREADY KNOWS IT'S THE MASTER. That's why he doesn't respond with relief/joy/whatever Jack and Martha expected -- but with dread. Because he KNEW it could only be the Master, that it could only be the Master who outwitted them all and managed to not be killed in the Time War, that only the Master would slyly turn himself into a human and hide in the most godforsaken time in all of universe just to keep on going, and THE DOCTOR FINDS HIM. And, oh the expressions on Ten's face... how he only sort of tries half-heartedly to stop the Master. Because DUH, TEN KNOWS IT'LL BE WAY MORE FUN TO PLAY THE MASTER'S GAMES INSTEAD. :D otpyesplz.
And to think I almost watched End of Time instead. :D SOUND OF DRUMS HERE WE COME.
(or sleep. I think I chose Utopia because I figured it would be shorter than EoT and I wasn't originally sure I could stay awake for two more hours. XD OH SHIT NOW I HAVE TO WATCH THEM ALL ANYWAAAAAY.)
Moff, plz go beg Simm to come back for the Christmas special/all of s7. PLEASE?! A Master-centric season, instead of just episode/two episodes would be exponential amounts of win.
Incidentally, I need a "Come along, Pond" icon. With Eleven, not Amy, though. I've seen one somewhere but I can't find it again. Might just make my own.
