AARON'S BEEN CAST IN THE BROADWAY PRODUCTION OF A TALE OF TWO CITIES.

No, I'm not going to LA now. XD

edit: I'm poking google, and found out that Nick Wyman will be playing Barsad, and that the show will be in the Hirschfeld theatre in September. I've set up a Google Alert for "A Tale of Two Cities Broadway" to hopefully catch more casting ( Read more... )

HOLY SHIT! Please tell me it's Carton he's been cast at? That show has such gorgeous songs, I'd love to hear Aaron sing them! Am a bit bummed, but not surprised they didn't go with James "Please Have a seat over there" Barbour who for all his creepiness did have a great voice - but YAY AARON. I can't wait until it opens!

I haven't been able to find news other than the Playbill article which says he pulled out of the Hollywood LM because of being cast in it. :D :D :D

Rest assured I am a-googling.

BECAUSE YES HE NEEDS TO BE CARTON. NEEDS.

Holy gods yes. I honestly hadn't considered Aaron playing the part before, but the more I think about it, the more perfect those songs are for his voice! I can practically hear him singing them now!

Seriously? Ever since I heard the news of Tale coming to Broadway, I've been (silently) praying for Aaron to be cast in it.

You can't imagine how much squeeing I am doing right now. XD

Hehe. I think I just lack imagination, though I've given some thought to how awesome my personal obsession Ethan Freeman would sound in the musical. XD

When do you think you'll see the show? Maybe we can catch it together. I'm definitely seeing it sometime in September when it first opens. Then, if it runs a decent amount of time, I'm gonna get a camcorder when Thanksgiving Sales go on and try my hand at a video boot. Would love to have some company to help shield my camera! XD

As much as possible. XD Shit, I'm trying to plan ahead already. I might even go to opening night and the first performance. I'm probably going to be coming from Pittsburgh though, unless I end up changing my mind and staying on this side of the state. Hmmm. But definitely going to go as much as possible. XD

Oh god bootleg I'll be glad to help.

I'm considering opening night as well, for whichever seats I can get. Then at least one performance in October in *good* seats. And if it runs a decent amount of time, post-thanksgiving, I'd love to arrange some sort of joint ticket-buying venture between us (so we can sit next to each other) and try my hand at video booting the show. It would be even more ideal if we could get a third person so I can have people on either side of me!

Anyway, yes. I am SO hoping the show runs at least through December. Please please please do well. *FINGERS CROSSED* Although if the show is nearing cancellation, I may just bump up my camcorder buying schedule to accomodate for filming the show.

And Greyhound does overnight runs between Pittsburgh and New York City, so you can bet I can do Saturday shows of this NO PROBLEM. :D *can sleep on buses*

I'm sure we can convince people to come and help us make bootlegs.
